Health Advisory
Dozearth grounding products are designed for everyday comfort, relaxation and general wellbeing. They are not medical devices and are not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Grounding is a wellness practice, not a guaranteed result. Some people report feeling changes soon after use, while others may notice very little or no clear difference.
If you have a health condition, take prescription medication, are pregnant, or are currently under medical care, please speak with a qualified healthcare professional before using grounding products on a regular basis.
Important Safety Note
Do not stop, reduce or change any medication because of grounding unless your doctor or healthcare provider has advised you to do so.
If you feel unwell, notice unusual symptoms, or have concerns after using a grounding product, stop using it and seek medical advice.
When to Speak With a Doctor First
Please get medical advice before starting a regular grounding routine if any of the situations below apply to you.
Blood Thinning Medication
If you take warfarin, Coumadin or another blood thinning medicine, speak with your doctor before regular grounding use. Some early grounding research discusses possible effects on blood viscosity and circulation markers, so your healthcare provider may want to monitor you more closely.
Diabetes or Blood Sugar Medication
If you use medication to manage blood sugar, check with your doctor before adding grounding to your routine. Any changes in how you feel, your blood sugar levels or medication response should be reviewed by a qualified healthcare professional.
Thyroid Medication
If you take thyroid hormone replacement or other thyroid related medication, ask your healthcare provider before using grounding products regularly. Changes in sleep, stress or general body response may affect how you feel while taking medication.
Anti-Inflammatory Medication
Grounding is often discussed in relation to inflammation and recovery. If you take anti-inflammatory medication, monitor how you respond and speak with your doctor if you notice any changes or have concerns.
Heart Conditions or Implanted Medical Devices
If you have a heart condition, pacemaker, implanted medical device or any electrical medical device, get advice from your doctor or specialist before using grounding products.
Pregnancy
If you are pregnant, speak with your midwife, GP or healthcare provider before using grounding products regularly. This is a simple precaution, especially if you have any pregnancy related health concerns.
Multiple Medications or Complex Health Conditions
If you take several prescription medicines or manage ongoing health conditions, talk to your healthcare provider before starting. This helps make sure grounding is suitable for your personal situation.
General Use Guidance
If you are new to grounding, start slowly and pay attention to how your body responds.
- Begin with around 20 to 30 minutes per day.
- Increase gradually if it feels comfortable.
- Use the product only as instructed.
- Do not use damaged cords, damaged plugs or damaged products.
- Disconnect grounding products during active thunderstorms.
- Stop use and seek medical advice if you feel unwell or notice anything unusual.
About Grounding Research
Grounding research is still developing. Some early studies and user reports are encouraging, but the evidence is not strong enough to treat grounding as a medical therapy.
For this reason, grounding products should be used as general wellbeing products only. They should not be used to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any health condition.
For New Zealand and Australian Customers
Dozearth products are intended for general wellness use in New Zealand and Australia. Health and therapeutic claims are regulated in both markets, so we keep our guidance careful, realistic and focused on comfort, rest and wellbeing.
If you are unsure whether grounding is suitable for you, the safest option is to ask your doctor, pharmacist or healthcare provider before starting.
